Humanoid Competitions
1. Robo Cop - [Future Applications: Defense System& Civil]
Hubo, the Robo Cop, a Human type Robot which will save many kids from abduction. Few children are abducted & kept in a Mill. The Robo Cop has to fight with the kidnappers within a short span of time. It then has to bring the children safely out of the Mill to end the mission. The Robo Cop which saves the most number of children in given time will be the winner. The Robo Cop with the most balanced & swift moves, designed according to the arena, will win the competition.
2. Footstick x2 - [Future Applications: Applications: Sports & Entertainment]
Footstick was an extremely popular event in the last edition of Robotics Olympiad. This Year, it will be Multiple players, three to be precise in each team. Each Team has to program all the 3 Humanoids such that they score most goals in the given time. Goals can be scored by all 3, using the body or the Stick on their hands; although goals scored using the Stick will have more points. Arena will be bigger than the Last edition.
Terrestrial Competitions
3. Bomb Disposal Robot - [Future Applications: Defense System& Civil] The Metrix Robot, manual wired remote controlled Terrestrial Robot will be used to carry a Ticking Bomb to Safe zone & then diffuse the bomb. For Carrying the Robot to a Safe zone, a trolley will be provided. The person manoeuvring the Robot has to place the bomb in the trolley & then pull it/drag it to the safe zone. Once in the safe zone, the robot has to use the cutter in its arm to cut the red wire. The team which performs the task in shortest time wins the event.
4. Terra Cleaner - [Future Applications: Home & Maintenance systems]
The Metrix Robot, manual wired remote controlled Terrestrial Robot, will now be used a Cleaner. Contestants have to segregate & sort out different types of things in a certain space.
